During the year of 1998 the size limit on Snook was 24" min. with no Max size except that you could only keep 1 fish over 34" with a 2 fish per day total.
As a personal effort to preserve the species I release all fish over 32"  Without the breeding stock the Fish will disappear.

All Snook must be released during the months of June, July & August.  The state of Florida as established a Closed season on them for 3 months during the Summer when they spawn

At the end of 1998 the State implemented additional restriction on Snook Fishing.
The new State Regulations set the Minimum size limit at 26" and the Maximum size limit at 34"
You are still allowed 2 fish per day.
